Revealed in 2009, the perky BlueSport is a mid-engined roadster that has struggled to get traction on VW's production schedule, although its styling has guided the look of the brand's newer models.
The convertible has remained popular since its unveiling however, and reports this week suggest the top brass at Volkswagen could finally give the BlueSport its ticket.
