Volvo has issued a recall in Australia this week for its S90 and XC90 models, due to a potential problem with the air conditioning system.

A drainage hose may not have been properly attached during manufacturing, which could cause condensation fluid to leak inside the vehicle.

Should this occur, the air conditioning system may not operate properly. Volvo is also concerned that the moisture could corrode other electrical systems, potentially causing a hazard for the vehicle occupants and other road users.

Affected models are from the 2016 and 2017 model-years. However, this current recall is the reiteration of a previous recall, first enacted last year.

Volvo will attempt to contact any affected owners with outstanding recalls in this regard shortly, but any owner wishing to learn more about the latest list of recalls should contact their local dealer.
