An Australian launch for the new crossover wagon is still to be confirmed, although Volvo has confirmed that a local debut is under consideration.
The V60 Cross Country adds 65mm in additional ground clearance over the regular V60, along with high-profile tyres, body cladding, scuff plates and extended bumpers.
The new variant will be offered in ‘Drive-E’ diesel form only, including an entry-level D3 model and a 133kW/400Nm D4 option. Front- and all-wheel-drive options will be offered.
Speaking with TMR today, Volvo Australia's Oliver Peagam confirmed that the V60 is under consideration for a local launch.
"We’re always keen to get new product, and the V60 Cross Country is certainly a vehicle we are interested in. However it’s too early to comment on local availability of this car," Mr Peagam said.
