Volkswagen T-Roc Teaser Paves The Way For Production Small SUV

Volkswagen is preparing to join the fast-expanding array of city-sized SUVs next week when it unveils the production-ready T-Roc, but before that happens the German brand has released extra teaser sketches in preparation for the real deal.

Official details are still to be released, but Volkswagen’s newcomer will share its underpinnings and mechanical packages with the recently-unveiled Polo light car, meaning the company's lightweight MQB modular platform will be able to accommodate a range of Volkswagen’s latest 1.0-litre three-cylinder or 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engines with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
