Volkswagen Multivan Edition25 On Sale In Australia

Volkswagen is fleshing out its special 'Edition' range this week, with the addition of the Volkswagen Edition25 Multivan. The release follows news earlier this month of the new Golf GTI Edition 35, expected in Australia later this year.

Bringing race style to the people-mover set, the Edition25 Multivan is available in Candy White paint only, with a matte black roof and a Nappa leather interior trim in grey and anthracite highlights.

The special Multivan also gets black door handles on the driver and front passenger doors, a black B-pillar for a full-length glasshouse look, black decal trim at the rear and on the side sills, and a matte black lower front bumper. All of this sits on 18-inch alloy wheels.

In the cabin, the Edition25 Multivan gets Volkswagen's RCD310 audio system, fitted with eight speakers and offering USB connectivity.

Standard equipment includes Volkswagen's Lane Change Assist system, developed to alert the driver to any vehicles alongside the Multivan during lane changes.

There is also front fog lights with cornering lights as standard, daytime running lights, tyre pressure indicator, assisted final-closing (latching) for the side and rear doors, and rain-sensing wipers.

The Multivan Edition25 is powered by Volkswagen's 2.0 litre turbodiesel engine, producing 132kW at 4000rpm and 400Nm of torque from 1500rpm. Fuel consumption is listed at 8.1 l/100km.
