Volkswagen Sport Coupe GTE Concept Previews Passat’s New CC Sibling

Volkswagen has unveiled its new Sport Coupe GTE concept in Geneva this week, boasting of a “new design era” for the brand.

That new era won’t rise out of a revolution, but it is clear that Volkswagen is preparing to take its familiar theme of sharp lines and tight angles to a new level.

Headlining that evolution is a tall new grille design that dips into the front bumper and, like the recent Taigun and Cross Coupe concepts, merges outward into each headlight.
