Volkswagen of America has pulled back the covers on five production-based concept cars for the Southern Worthersee enthusiast show - America’s answer to Austria’s Worthersee GTI festival.

Built in collaboration with a range of aftermarket parts suppliers, the concepts for Southern Worthersee (or SoWo as it’s affectionately known) tap into the rich vein of enthusiast support for Volkswagen Group products, showing some factory-level finish and inspiration

Golf GTI RS

Cheekily borrowing inspiration from the Porsche line of products, the GTI RS applies some familiar 911 styling cues and a twist of Japanese drift culture to the otherwise more prosaic Golf
