Volkswagen CC R-Line Hits Europe

Volkswagen's revised 2012 CC has re-joined the growing list of models to offer R-Line sports styling packaging in Europe. 

The sporting package had previously been offered with the Passat CC, but with the facelifted model arriving last year, an all-new R-Line package has only now joined the range.

As it does with the regular Passat (along with the Touraeg, Tiguan and Polo), the CC's R-Line upgrade adds new bumpers and skirts and new wheel options.

Driven by the same 155kW 2.0 litre engine available with the regular CC and a number of other VW offerings, the CC R-Line package adds the option of a six-speed manual transmission to replace the standard six-speed DSG auto. 

Australia

As with Volkswagen's other R-Line packages, there are no confirmed plans to offer these enhancements when the updated CC hits Australia in coming months.
