The idea was ridiculous, the final product was wild, and its road-eating ability could be the stuff of legends. Nissan's Juke-R concept has made its on-track video debut, and it is a proper riot.
This latest instalment in the long-running Juke-R development video journal is titled Shakedown and Testing, offering footage of the GT-R powered Juke-R on the track, along with the project's engineers describing how it all went down.
"The Juke-R is a road-legal car so it's very important that, with this testing, we can make sure that first the car is safe. But, also, we can fine tune and improve all the variations in terms of chassis and suspension that the Juke-R has against the GT-R," project manager Thomas Deloison said.
While it may be one of the few road-legal concepts around, it'll be a lucky fan that spots the Juke-R on a public road - and an even luckier one that sees it tear through a corner at breakneck speeds.
