Porsche’s new hero mid-engined coupe - along with its sibling the Boxster GTS - is powered by the same 3.4 litre six-cylinder boxer that features in the S pair.
Power is boosted to 243kW in the Boxster GTS and 250kW in the Cayman GTS, and torque is also up 10Nm in both models.
Both GTS models get Porsche’s Sport Chrono package and, when combined with the PDK auto and the active Sport Plus setting, the 0-100km/h sprint is undone in 4.7 seconds (4.6 for the Cayman).
The new twins made their global debut in May, and Australia deliveries begin this month. Local pricing begins at $146,000 for the Boxster GTS and $161,400 for the Cayman GTS.
