Victoria's RACV has partnered with the Environment Protection Agency and a number of carmakers to announce the second annual GreenZone Drive.
Launching tomorrow, the RACV GreenZone Drive is an initiative developed to offer Victorians a chance to test-drive a range of low and 'zero' emission vehicles, following a route through Melbourne's CBD.
Over a dozen examples of the most fuel-efficienct vehicles available (and soon to be available) in Australia will be on hand, from the all-electric Mitsubishi i-MiEV and the upcoming Nissan Leaf, to the most miserly variants in the Audi A6 and Volvo XC60 ranges.
The program's partners include RACV, Green Wheels and the Global Fuel Economy Initiative, along with Shell, Michelin, Better Place and Murcotts. Participating carmakers include Audi, Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Renault and Volvo.
The event will be held at GreenZone Drive HQ in the Rialto building, from Monday August 29 until Friday September 2. For more details, visit the GreenZone website at http://www.greenzonedrive.com.au.
