Vauxhall has added another rung to the Adam’s line-up, with a new range-topping model called the Grand Slam.

Arriving just in time for the 2015 Grand Slam tennis season (kicking off on the other side of the world), the new Adam’s party-piece will be its 110kW 1.4 litre turbocharged engine.

Match that with an upgraded braking system from Vauxhall’s VXR division along with a few unique styling features, and the Grand Slam could easily be considered the most desirable Adam yet.

Interior features include a selection of four styles for the seats - including Recaro Performance seats - along with two types of leather which can also be optioned on the steering wheel, park-brake lever and gear stick.

Vauxhall has given the Grand Slam a “more muscular” appearance than the standard Adam, including an extended rear bumper ‘cut-out’, front lip spoiler and side sill mouldings.

There’s also a more pronounced tailpipe, a small rear spoiler and unique five-spoke alloys, along with a choice of ten paint finishes for the body and four for the roof.

The 2015 Vauxhall Adam Grand Slam is available to UK customers from this month, but like the rest of the Adam range we aren’t expecting to see it in Australia.
