Renault will unwrap an updated Captur small SUV at the Geneva Motor Show next week.

With 215,670 sales last year, the Captur was Europe’s best-selling B-segment crossover. However in Australia the Captur could only secure an 11th place ranking in the local small SUV segment.

While full details won’t be released until Geneva, Renault says the update brings a new upscale model variant, fresh looks inside and out, new colours, extra equipment and more personalisation possibilities.

On the styling front, Renault says the Captur’s updated looks bring it closer to the brand’s other crossover models - notably the larger Kadjar – with a new grille, extra chrome and available full LED Pure Vision headlights.

LED daytime running lights move to the front bumper and now form a C-shape (Renault’s brand light signature) and the LED rear lights adopt the same look.
