Facelifted DS3 Set For Late 2016 Australian Launch

The vehicle formerly known as the Citroen DS3 has received a new face for 2016, as well as a slightly new identity.

In line with parent company PSA's plan to divorce the DS nameplate from its Citroen brand and position it as a high-end offshoot, the Citroen DS3 will simply be known as "DS3" when the updated model reaches our shores in late 2016.

That's evidenced by the new facia. Gone are Citroen's distinctive chevrons, replaced instead by a DS monogram in the centre of the now-hexagonal grille.
