Toyota’s New NASCAR Racer Previews All-New Camry

Underwriting its phenomenal sales success in North America, Toyota is into NASCAR racing big-time but with this fan activation function has the Japanese giant provided a glimpse of the all-new Camry due next year?

We already know the Camry will use the weight-saving TNGA shared platform (as used in the current Prius) but the car rolled-out for this NASCAR gig shows some aggressive new styling with more than a hint of Lexus.

The grille certainly imitates Toyota’s prestige brand’s hyped ‘Spindle’ grille and the lower air intakes are almost exact copies of the Lexus LS.

There is even a hint of the current Corolla with the upper grille.

Also noticeable are the three L-shaped LED DRLs incorporated into each headlight cluster.
