NEW SUPRA BOUND FOR DETROIT?
A Tokyo Motor Show unveiling for Toyota's expected Supra successor never eventuated, but we needn't worry, because the rumour mill has now moved onto a Detroit debut.
This time it's American website Autoblog, which claims that unnamed but "well-placed" Toyota insiders have confirmed that a powerful new coupe concept will appear at next month's Detroit Motor Show.
Of course, reports of a new Supra stretch back to before the popular MkIV model's retirement, but with Toyota now known to be working on a sports platform with BMW, fans have more reason than ever to be hopeful.
