Toyota Rukus Dropped From Australian Line-Up

The Toyota Rukus will soon be no more in the Australian market, as the Japanese carmaker has decided to delete the model from its local line-up.

Toyota confirmed it will cease production of the Australian version of the Rukus next month for a final delivery to local showrooms. 

Once these examples arrive on Australian shores, they will be the last Rukus models sold in Australia in an official capacity and the Rukus will be cut from the local Toyota range once stock is exhausted.

Speaking with TMR, Toyota Australia’s Steve Coughlan said the Rukus’s somewhat unique styling has brought new buyers to the Toyota brand.
