Toyota's limited-edition $31,820 Camry Atara R is back in showrooms, following a brief appearance in October last year.
Based again on the Camry Altise, the new special picks up features from the regular Atara model that are worth more than $3000 in Toyota's catalogue.
Among the added extras are the Atara's front sports bumper and grille, side skirts and a dual exhaust diffuser, squeezing an extra 2kW of power out of the midsized sedan.
There's fog lamps up front, a special edition badge at the rear, and wheels are also upgraded from 16- to 17-inch alloys with a full-size spare.
In the cabin, there's a 'premium' three-spoke steering wheel with audio controls, a 6.1 inch display, and a reversing camera with fixed on-screen guides.
Colour options include Diamond White, Silver Pearl, Graphite, Eclipse Black, Wildfire, Magnetic Bronze and Reflex Blue.
The Camry range is powered by a 2.5 litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 133kW and 231Nm of torque.
Mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, the engine lists fuel consumption figures of 7.8 l/100km.
