Chevrolet’s new Camaro will soon be joined by a convertible companion, and these new shots offer the first ‘official’ look at what we’ll see.
The images appeared on the company’s own website before being quickly taken down, but fans at online community Camaro6 were quick to save their own copies.
As with its predecessor, the new Camaro Convertible will bring few surprises on the styling front, debuting a long flat rear deck with a low-cut fabric folding roof.
Powertrains will undoubtedly mirror the options offered with the new Camaro coupe, which will include a trio of 205kW four-, 250kW six- and 339kW eight-cylinder engines.
And, like the coupe, a production schedule limited to left-hand-drive means the new Camaro Convertible has no chance for an Australian debut that doesn’t involve an expensive private import.
