Top Gear Previews Extended Episode For Clarkson, Hammond, May: Video

The question of whether fans would see Jeremy Clarkson’s final Top Gear scenes has been answered: miss out on all that sweet revenue? No chance.

Today, the BBC has released a short preview clip of a final extended episode that will merge footage shot for the final three episodes of the show’s 22nd series.

The episode will be made up of two separate features, one involving some classic Fiats, Peugeots and MGBs, and a cross-country adventure.

The other will revolve around the show’s familiar ‘best buy for bugger-all’ challenge. This time it will be SUVs: a Frontera, a Cherokee and a Pajero iO.

The one-off episode, which will air at a date still to be confirmed, will mark the final on-screen appearance of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May as the presenters of Top Gear.

All three are tipped to return with a new series at a new home, of course, and Top Gear itself is already confirmed to be in development with a new format for 2016.
