TMG Releases Video Of Lexus LS-Based TS 650

Rumours of F-branded high-performance versions of the Lexus LS and GS sedans have been circulating for a while, but the carmaker remains quiet on plans to extend the F lineup beyond the current IS F. 

There's the upcoming RC F, of course, but what if your tastes favour something... larger?

Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) reckons it has the solution in the Lexus LS-based TS 650, which packs the V8 heart and eight-speed transmission found in the IS F.

The special LS winds the wick up to a collossal 447kW with the help of a pair of turbochargers, then pairs it with a track-ready suspension setup and mammoth carbon-ceramic brakes.

Besides being handy around a circuit (well, handy for a gigantic luxury sedan anyway), the TS 650 is also claimed to rocket to 96km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Top speed? 322km/h.
