Revived Ford tuner, Tickford, has announced its latest series of upgrades to suit the Mustang - this time adding new interior upgrades and a more serious suspension setup.
The new parts join previously released exhaust and wheel packages for the Mustang as well as engine tune upgrade packages.
The sport suspension system is offered for both the turbocharged four-cylinder Mustang EcoBoost and the V8-powered Mustang GT and consists of monotube strut coil-overs at the front and monotube dampers and separate springs on the rear that drop the Mustang 25mm lower than standard.
Tickford boss,Tim Edwards, claims the revised settings have been designed to provide a more purposeful stance without sacrificing the standard car’s ride comfort.
"Customers kept telling us they wanted to achieve a lowered stance but didn't want to compromise on ride quality and handling, a tough ask that our development team relished," he said.
"The result of their hard work is a suspension tune that retains manufacturer levels of ride quality while improving the driving dynamics in real world situations from the twisty roads of the Australian alpine region to bumpy suburban city streets, making it a great all round package."
The upgraded suspension costs $3990 including fitment at any of Tickford's four official modification outlets in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Tasmania and is backed by a 12-month warranty.
For owners looking to amp-up the prestige appeal of their Mustang, Tickford now has a new genuine leather upgrade available that sees the Mustang’s standard trim upgraded with new restyled seat trims that feature additional padding, pleated stitching and embossed Tickford logos.
The interior package is capped off with a new centre console cover finished in leather and suede, and again embossed with the Tickford logo. The interior upgrade package is priced at $4490.
Tickford has also confirmed that is has even more personalisation toptions coming for both the Mustang and the Ranger as well as a selection of suitable parts to be made available for the Everest SUV later this year.
