Toyota’s Corolla was in front for most of the year, but this week the results were finalised - the Corolla was Australia’s favourite car in 2014.
After a year-long battle with the Mazda3 for sales supremacy, the Corolla was declared the nation’s top-selling car by 422 units.
Toyota absolutely dominated the Australian market last year, shifting almost twice as many cars as its nearest rival with 203,501 sales.
The Detroit Auto Show is just days away, and carmakers were busy gearing up for the event this week.
