Tesla announced it’s ‘open for business’ in Australia this week, as its first customer store opened its doors in Sydney’s northern suburbs.

The EV-maker also outlined plans to fast-track a supercharger network along Australia’s east coast, which will link Melbourne and Brisbane via Canberra and Sydney by 2017.

The first nine Model S customers received their keys at a ceremony at Sydney’s The Star on Tuesday night, with each rewarded for their patience with a customised ‘Signature’ model.


It was a big week for Ford, with the carmaker confirming an all-new Focus RS is on the way.

Ford also confirmed features and specifications for its incoming Mustang performer, revealing the V8 version will offer up 303kW and 525Nm.

Finally, Ford detailed its updated Kuga for 2015 with news three variants in the range will receive price-cuts in the new year.
