Nissan’s all-new Pathfinder is now in local showrooms with a new lower starting price of $39,990 plus on-roads.

Gone is the diesel donk from the outgoing Pathfinder, replaced with the 3.5 litre petrol V6 from the Murano, producing 191kW and 325Nm.

A 2.5 litre four-cylinder supercharged hybrid is also expected to join the line-up next year.

Isuzu has added a 4X4 SUV wagon to its D-Max utility range, the MU-X.

While the new SUV is similar in appearance to the Holden Colorado 7, only the front doors and bonnet are shared between the two models.

Priced from $40,500 plus on-roads, the MU-X goes one-up on its auto-only Colorado cousin by offering both auto and manual in 4WD models.
