The range of Isuzu Ute models available in Australia expanded this week with the addition of three new 4x2 variants split across the D-Max ute and MU-X SUV ranges.

D-Max picks up a 4x2 Space Cab High-Ride Ute, and 4x2 Crew Cab High-Ride Cab Chassis, both available in workhorse SX specification and coupled to a five-speed automatic only.

The new variants bring the total D-Max line-up to 25 variants. So far in 2015, D-Max 4x2 variants have more than doubled the sales set in 2014, with a resurgence of interest from both fleet and private buyers.

A new high-end variant of BMW’s fastback X4 SUV has arrived in Australia, standing in as the interim performance flagship until the X4 M40i arrives.

Wearing the xDrive35d nametag, the new model features a 3.0 litre turbo diesel engine that out-grunts the existing xDrive35i petrol version.

Power is rated at 230kW, 5kW above the petrol version, while torque peaks at a massive 630Nm, some 230Nm beyond its petrol counterpart.
