It was a big week for HSV with the unveiling of its entire Gen-F range, on sale from next month. The GTS was the star of the show, now that the 430kW supercharged V8 has been confirmed.

We know the GTS will be close to the $95,000 mark, but other models may receive a price drop in line with the regular VF Commodore range.

Updated Caprice and Caprice V models will be a considerable $10,000 cheaper this year and, for the first time, the six cylinder option will be powered by LPG only. Understandable, given the 3.6 litre V6 LPG engine is the preferred choice amongst fleet buyers.

Those preferring a 3.6 petrol V6 could opt for the new VF Ute - which is fitted with the engine in the entry level variant - starting from $32,990.
