The entry-level VTi manual model is $500 cheaper than the outgoing version, while pricing rounds-out at $21,390 plus on-roads for the range-topping VTi-L automatic.

Fuel consumption from the 1.5 litre four-cylinder petrol engine has improved from 6.3 l/100km in the manual and 6.6 in the auto, to 5.8 for the manual and 5.7 l/100km for the new ‘seven-speed’ CVT. 


For two of the three local mainstream carmakers, it was a mixed week… 

Both Holden and Ford posted huge financial losses in 2013; a result of significant write-downs and redundancy costs associated with their impending exits from Australian manufacturing.

Holden had at least one reason to celebrate this week however, when its one millionth High-Feature V6 rolled off the production line.
