It all started with a couple of phone-cam snaps, followed by a gallery of leaked press shots. But, at last, BMW finally released details of its new 2 Series.
Main interest surrounds the top-shelf M235i, which promises 240kW and 450Nm from its 3.0 litre turbocharged six cylinder engine.
Expect to see the 2 Series arrive in local showrooms in the first half of next year. (We suspect second-quarter.)
Holden’s Colorado and Colorado 7 SUV range received some welcome updates this week, not least of which was a more powerful 2.8 litre turbo-diesel engine.
Power and torque have risen from 130kw and 470Nm to a maximum of 147kW and 500Nm respectively. The 2.4 litre engine has been dropped from the range.
There’s a new six-speed manual, a new range of accessories, plus the MyLink system has found its way into the range.
