The Nissan GT-R Would Like To Help With Your Post-Christmas Pack Up

There’s a few traditional theories about when your Christmas tree should come down; some say the tinsel needs to be packed away by the 31st of December, others nominate the 6th of January (the feast of the Epiphany, for those interested) as the day

There’s a few traditional theories about when your Christmas tree should come down; some say the tinsel needs to be packed away by the 31st of December, others nominate the 6th of January (the feast of the Epiphany, for those interested) as the day for stowing the baubles.

Then there’s a few who will finally get around to it some time in February... or March, maybe.

To make the arduous job of liberating the corner of your living room simpler and more enjoyable, Nissan offers an innovative solution to speed up the process. A twin-turbocharged and most ridiculous solution, but a solution nonetheless.

If you’re any kind of GT-R fan you’ll already know that Nissan’s supercar-baiting coupe is a handy thing to have a round the house, as Top Gear famously demonstrated with their table-clearing stunt, now in a similar vein Nissan USA has put the GT-R to work again.

We won’t spoil it for you, but Nissan claims that you can have the tree cleared in 2.7 seconds - oddly enough that's exactly the same amount of time it takes for a GT-R NISMO to reach 60 miles per hour.

Check it out in the video below, and as usual we strongly suggest that you don’t try this at home. Now, when you’re done here isn’t it about time you turned your attention to that darned tree?
