Toyota has released a new teaser image for its upcoming Furia sports sedan concept - but it's nothing you haven't already seen.

Teasing a section of the concept's tail-light design, the new image follows a revealing video clip released last month.

Described as an "an exciting new sedan concept", the Furia - Spanish for 'fury' - is bound for next week's Detroit Auto Show, where Toyota will reveal the first details on the sedan.

For now, the carmaker has offered a number of cropped close-ups, revealing a carbon lip spoiler, sharp LED lights at both ends and a long performance-styled profile.

What the new concept represents for Toyota's future line-up is still to be seen. The carmaker is known to be working on a return of the Corolla sedan, and a new light car based on the Mazda2 is also expected.

For now, we wait for Detroit. Fans will have plenty else to look forward to also, with Toyota's luxury arm Lexus set to show its all-new IS sedan, revealed earlier this week.
