The Driver Animated Series Previewed: Video

It's The Fast & The Furious in series form, it's Pixar's Cars for adults. It's not one for the kids, but it's definitely one for the kid in you.

Targeted at fans of the aftermarket tuning scene, The Driver has been in the works for more than a couple of years. 

"The series follows the escapades of a mysterious driver out to rid the streets of Los Angeles of illegal street racers, drunk drivers, and other unsavory characters," producer Chrison Studios says.

There's still no official release date, but this latest video offers a look at what's to come, as a reckless Nissan 350Z driver encounters a ghostly GT-R on the streets of Los Angeles.
