Tesla fans had already circled next month on their calendars for a full unveiling of the electric vehicle-maker’s new Model 3, but reports out of Europe suggest they may see pictures of the new EV and little else.

Speaking with the UK’s Auto Express, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the carmaker won’t be rushed into playing all of its cards at once, and that we can expect a ‘staggered’ reveal.

“The first pictures of the Model 3 will be end-of-March,” Musk said.

“I am being a little coy here; we are not going to show everything about the Model 3 until a lot closer to production time.”

Tesla may also decide to show a pre-production prototype in March, but the finished product may differ slightly or substantially.
