Tesla’s first ‘store’ in Australia will officially open its doors tomorrow, offering the public its first look at the interactive buying experience.
Residents and passers-by in the Sydney suburb of St Leonards may have noticed the former Holden dealer’s transformation in recent weeks, but the gates have been closed until now.
From tomorrow, potential customers will have the chance to view the Model S in the metal and discuss all Tesla matters with the store’s staff.
Tesla is insistent on the term ‘stores’ to describe its buying and servicing locations, with Marketing and Communications Manager, Heath Walker, saying “it’s slightly different to [how] a traditional dealer is known”.
Tesla will soon expand its network of stores to include more locations in Sydney and Melbourne.
