Tata has taken the knife to pricing for its Xenon ute with special drive-away deals for the end of financial year (EOFY).

Until the end of this month, the Xenon can now be had for just under $20,000, with prices starting from $19,990 drive-away for the entry-level 2WD Single Cab-Chassis.

The sub-$20k price only applies to 2013-plated stock.Buyers aiming to secure a 2014 model will need to find an extra $1000.

The price-gap drops to $500 for 4WD Single Cab-Chassis models, with 2013 stock available from $22,490 drive-away while 2014 variants start from $22,990 drive-away.

Single Cab 2WD utes start from $20,490 and $20,990 drive-away for 2013 and 2014 models respectively, while both year models in the 4WD version are priced from $22,990 drive-away.

The range-topping 4WD Dual Cab was cut from $29,990 to $27,990 drive-away last month, but Tata has cut the price further for its EOFY sale.

Priced from $25,990 drive-away, the 2014 4WD Dual Cab is now $4000 cheaper than it was in April, while 2013 models are $6000 cheaper, starting from $23,990.

“The Tata range has forged its growth on outstanding value and this continues with our first-ever End of Financial Year Special drive-away prices,” Managing Director of Tata Motors Australia, Darren Bowler, said.

Tata’s EOFY sale is on now, with special pricing in place until June 30. Contact your local Tata dealer for more details.
