Indian giant Tata has revealed a pair of new combatants on its home turf this week, ahead of a launch in the hotly contested light-car market.
The new twins, named Zest (sedan) and Bolt (hatch) arrive some six years after Tata’s tiny Nano made headlines by becoming the world’s cheapest car.
But while the Nano has largely stuck to the Indian market, Tata says the Zest and Bolt have been developed to a global philosophy - although emerging markets will likely remain the focus.
