Suzuki has released images of a new 'Authentics' small sedan concept, ahead of its public debut at the Shanghai Auto Show later this month.
A Shanghai unveiling for such a concept is significant given this class is currently the strongest in the booming Chinese market.
If produced, a sedan in the internationally popular C-segment could prove critical for Suzuki, particularly after the company was forced to pull out of the key US market last year.
Early details of the Authentics are otherwise thin, but a low-slung, long-wheelbase sedan profile is evident in the images, along with what appears to be a fresh design direction for the brand.
Further details will follow the Authentics’ Shanghai unveiling on April 20.
