Suzuki has added a reversing camera to the standard equipment list of select models in its Kizashi sedan and Grand Vitara SUV ranges.
Fitted to the mid-range Sport and top-line Prestige grades of both models, the camera complements the recently added 6.1-inch multifunction interface.
This system includes Bluetooth audio streaming and telephony, multimedia playback, voice control, and Garmin sat-nav, integrated with vehicle speed sensors to enable location info even without GPS signal.
The system offers MP3 CD playback, along with an SD card slot and Bluetooth/USB/aux audio connectivity, bringing both models’ convenience features in line with more recently launched counterparts.
Suzuki's Australian arm will be looking to these latest additions to boost the appeal of its Kizashi or Grand Vitara models - the latter also picking up an update in August.
Both models have had a lacklustre year so far, sitting 11th and 10th in their respective Medium Sedan and Medium SUV segments (YTD October 31).
