Suzuki iM-4 Isn’t The New Jimny, But Both Are Coming: Report

Suzuki’s recent iM-4 crossover concept will hit the market in 2018, a new report claims, but not as a replacement for the long-serving Jimny off-roader.

According to the UK’s Auto Express, the iM-4 will debut as a compact SUV companion to the new Celerio hatch, rounding out the affordable entry-level end of the Suzuki line-up.

The production iM-4 will reportedly be offered in both front- and all-wheel-drive form, but it won’t deliver the sort of weekender capabilities that have made the Jimny a legend.
