Subaru Australia has rounded out its recently updated 2015 XV range with a new special edition, adding features and a special one-off colour.
Finished in ‘Sunshine Yellow’, the new special is based on the entry-level 2.0i model, matched with a CVT auto and a handful of extras at a $1750 premium over the regular model.
Standard kit with the 2.0i CVT special edition includes heated and leather-trimmed front seats, leather shift knob and steering wheel, along with a carbon fibre-look trim panel.
There's also contrast stitching to the seats/knob/wheel, and embroidered SV logos to the seats and carpet mats.
“Unique colours have been an inherent part of the XV range since launch: a much-copied orange, a vibrant green and now a stand-out yellow,” Subaru Australia boss Nick Senior said.
“These colours have not only proven to be popular with our younger XV buyers, they have broad appeal.”
As with the regular range, the new special is powered by a 110kW/196Nm 2.0 litre four-cylinder petrol engine. Fuel consumption is rated at 7.0 with the CVT auto.
Priced at $30,740, availability of the XV 2.0 CVT Special Edition in Sunshine Yellow is limited to 200 units.
