Subaru first hinted at this virtual racer back in December, before finally rolling out a second revealing teaser earlier this week.
And now here it is. As expected, the concept builds on the styling language that has dominated Subaru’s concepts for a couple of years now, hinting at a sharpened look that we could see on the road in the years ahead.
The Viziv GT itself is unlikely to hit showrooms anytime soon, however, although it does share a ‘shooting brake’ style with the earlier Cross Sport concept - and that’s one we might eventually see in production.
For now, the Viziv GT will remain the stuff of cyber dreams, tempting fans of Sony’s Gran Turismo series away from other ‘Vision’ concepts like the Toyota FT-1, Aston Martin DP-100, Nissan Concept 2020 and plenty more.
Although only a virtual racer, Subaru envisions the Viziv GT with a 1380kg kerb weight, propelled by a petrol-electric all-wheel-drive (of course) hybrid system churning out a mighty 440kW and 800Nm.
Watch for the Viziv GT, and all of its concept-only rivals, to land with Vision Gran Turismo on the PlayStation in December.
