SsangYong's XLV concept has make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show this week, showcasing the South Korean automaker's new "Nature Born 3 Motion" design language and previewing a new core model for the brand.
Measuring just two centimetres longer than a Korando, the XLV concept features a 2+2+2+1 seating arrangement that sees the seventh seat sliding between the four rearmost seats.
It also features a diesel-electric hybrid powertrain, with a 1.6 litre turbodiesel paired with a 10kW electric motor.
A 500W/h lithium-ion battery pack supplies power to the electric assistance motor, and the XLV emits a claimed 98g of carbon dioxide per kilometre in manual transmission form.
