SsangYong is on a roll. Less than a month on from the unveiling of its stylish SIV-1 concept in Geneva, the Korean carmaker has teased another big wagon: the LIV-1.
Both showcars come on the heels of SsangYong's XIV concepts, as the now Mahindra-owned marque marches toward the release of a new production SUV.
This latest concept, the LIV-1, will debut at this month's Seoul Motor Show as a preview of a new large wagon that would sit above the midsized SIV-1 SUV.
Details for the new model are still to be revealed, although it is clear that, alongside the SIV and XIV concepts, SsangYong will soon introduce a vastly improved line-up to the global market.
Like the SIV-1 concept before it, the LIV-1 features a tapered roofline with a high beltline and flared guards - although less dramatic than on the SIV - while the front-end reveals long LED-rich headlights connected to a broad chrome-trimmed grille.
Watch for more details on the LIV-1 as it nears its production debut, expected sometime in 2014.
