Did... did we miss April Fools' Day?
This is the Skoda RS Mega Man-Pram, an all-terrain baby buggy designed, Skoda says, as the ultimate accessory for new dads.
The pram forms part of Skoda's new Octavia RS advertising campaign, which centres on a neighbourhood loaded to the brim with souped-up versions of, well, everything.
Massive jet-engined barbeques, V8-powered lawn mowers, jacked-up ice-cream trucks and bronzed bodies are just some of the community's ridiculous showpieces.
And, of course, the Mega Man-Pram. But does it fit in the back of the new Octavia RS? At 1.5 metres tall and with 20-inch alloys, we suspect not - but Skoda isn't letting that get between it and a good promo opportunity.
Skoda says the development of the pram was inspired by a survey that showed most dads would be more likely to take bub out for a walk if they had a more impressive buggy.
To satisfy fathers, Skoda's Mega Man-Pram is equipped with huge rims wrapped in all-terrain rubber, oversized brake callipers, high-beam headlights, sports-style upholstery, wing mirrors and anti-stress push-bar grips.
And, no, you can't buy it. But... would you? Sound off in the comments below.
As for the Octavia RS - ostensibly the real star of the campaign - you'll see Skoda's new hero in Australian showrooms next year.
