Skoda’s new SUV could serve as more than just an ‘A-to-B’ family truckster when it enters production, with reports out of Europe pointing to at least three future variants.
Company chief Bernhard Maier is reportedly keen to see the new model cover as many SUV bases as possible, including the emerging trend in Europe and elsewhere for ‘four-door coupe’ versions.
Maier also hinted that once the regular and coupe models are established, a powered-up RS version could also arrive in showrooms over the next few years.
“We’ve seen for some time that the SUV segment has experienced the strongest growth in the market”, Skoda CEO, Bernhard Maier said, speaking with the UK’s Autocar.
“We might imagine there will be further models”.
