There's no such thing as a car too small to be imagined in a high-performance application, and Skoda's new Citigo city car is no exception.
In its regular form, the Citigo is largely identical to its Volkswagen Up! stablemate, with only its unique face, tail-lights and C-pillar setting the two apart.
But while the Up! has taken on a number of different concept guises, the Citigo has gone without a special motorshow costume.
Until now, that is. This beefed-up Citigo Rally sketch previews Skoda's plans for this weekend's annual Wörthersee Tour, where it will join the usual host of modified Volkswagens and Audis.
Details for the Citigo Rally have not been revealed, and it remains to be seen if its 1.0 litre engine will be boosted beyond the regular 44kW output, replaced all-together, or left untouched.
Skoda will also show another Citigo concept, dubbed "DJ," packed with audio visual entertainment systems to keep showgoers entertained.
Watch for more details this weekend.
