Saab To Restart 9-3 Sedan Production This Week: Report

Saab could have 'brand-new' 9-3 sedans on the road by early next year, according to new reports that the Swedish carmaker will recommence production this week.

Saab owner National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) has reportedly confirmed that the brand's re-started Trollhattan plant will produce a modest number of 9-3s, almost two years to the day since the carmaker folded.

Six hundred staff are believed to be on hand for the first day back at work; somewhat less than the 3,500 strong work-force that manned the Saab machines of yesteryear.
