The list of Rolls-Royce-branded accessories is unlikely to leave many customers of the prestige British brand looking for more, but the carmaker has added another just to be 'on the safe side'.
Rolls already offers everything from cigar cases to picnic hampers and matching luggage sets, but now buyers can add the new Rolls-Royce Cocktail Hamper to that list.
The picnic set takes 1500 hours to craft and is handmade, so the 1344-odd hours invested into this cocktail set might seem a little hurried in comparison. But the glasses alone take a month to manufacture.
And it would be best for Rolls if the highly-skilled artisans took their time with this one, as customers handing over £26,366 (AU$55,465) for a cocktail set are probably entitled to demand absolute perfection from their new purchase…
Designer Sina Maria Eggl is behind the set, which includes such materials as leather to match the interior of the car and American walnut for the hamper. Experts from 45 Park Lane and Dorchester were also consulted.
“Each motor car that we craft represents a deeply personal expression of individual customer tastes and lifestyles,” Rolls-Royce’s Gavin Hartley said.
“This extraordinary scope for personalisation extends far beyond the car itself through an Accessories Collection, featuring exceptional objects designed to augment the lifestyles of the marque’s customers.”
Mr Hartley said the hamper reflected the company’s belief that Rolls-Royce customers are “the most discerning patrons of luxury in the world”.
Those patrons had better hurry if they wish to join the luxury cocktail hamper club, as Rolls-Royce plans a ‘production run’ of just 15 hampers.
