Swiss carmaker Rinspeed is persisting with its focus on self-driving cars as it prepares to debut its latest concept at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Called the Etos, the new concept continues the autonomous theme established in Rinspeed’s Buddi concept from this year’s Geneva Motor Show and the XchangE concept from 2013.

But unlike the afore mentioned, the Etos stretches the ‘normal’ envelope further by adding a landing pad for a drone at the rear of its sporting two-door coupe body.

Why? To land the drone upon, of course, as the Etos comes equipped with one of its own.

Rinspeed says the drone can be used to film the vehicle while driving - which takes the whole ‘dash-cam’ thing to a whole new level.
