Eterniti Motors won't be the only new brand to debut at this week's Frankfurt Motor Show: Mate Rimac, a 23 year-old entrepreneur and designer will also reveal Croatia's first supercar, the Rimac One Concept.

Teased here in a handful of shadowy images, Rimac Automobili claims its One Concept supercar will produce 812kW and a staggering 3800Nm of torque.

You might have guessed that those figures are courtesy of an electric powertrain, and you'd be right.

Full details for the One Concept won't be released until Frankfurt, but Rimac promises a powerful electric motor and battery combination, and a top speed of over 300km/h.

Rimac has revealed that there are four independent electric motors in the One Concept, divided into two pairs - one at the front, and one at the rear.

“The front and rear systems are separate units,” Rimac said. “Each of them includes two high-speed, liquid-cooled permanent magnet electric motors, two liquid-cooled inverter units and two reduction gearboxes, integrated into one small unit."

Rimac says his electrified supercar has already been putting Tesla's electrified Roadster to shame in Italy's e-miglia race, disguised as an old BMW E30 3 Series.

The young Croatian dreamer has high hopes for his supercar, with his Rimac Automobili company planning to produce 88 units, priced "just below the petrol-powered competition from Pagani, Koenigsegg and Bugatti."

Rumour has it that the Abu Dhabi royal family has already siged on for a Rimac of its own.
